Lina Monica Ali is a distinguished digital delivery leader and an established authority in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Digital Engineering. Bringing 29 years of multidisciplinary engineering expertise—including 15 years in the built environment and 11 years dedicated to digital delivery consultancy—she has consistently spearheaded sophisticated workflows across landmark megaprojects in Singapore and internationally. She bridges high-level technological adoption with practical workforce upskilling, holding a Master of Science in Engineering Management, a buildingSMART Tier 2 Digital Delivery Management (DDM) Accreditation, and an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP).

Professional Journey & Impact

Throughout her extensive career, Lina has successfully transitioned traditional engineering environments into fully integrated, highly agile digital ecosystems. At Arth Design Build, she currently directs digital delivery strategies for major public infrastructure, including the Changi East Terminal 5 Mega-spine and the digitization of MRT alignments and underground tunnels for the Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA). Her technical precision has led to groundbreaking industry contributions. While working on the LTA Circle Line 6 project with AECOM, she resolved complex cross-platform interoperability challenges, and her structural tunnel modeling templates were officially adopted by Bentley Systems into their OpenRails Singapore dataset. Previously, as Digital Lead at Meinhardt Singapore, she guided the firm’s ISO 19650 project-level compliance certification and engineered automated workflows to digitize internal operations. She has also provided strategic BIM direction for massive regional developments at Surbana Jurong, such as the Qiddiya Mega project in Riyadh. As a dedicated adult educator, Lina systematically trained hundreds of professionals and facilitated critical training during the national BCA CorenetX Collab Platform pilot.
